Workshops

Harambee has provided workshops to a variety of audiences over the past decade. We have school workshops designed for primary and secondary levels but they can be tailored to suit all age groups and ability levels. Do call us if you think we might be able to meet your needs but you do not see exactly what you are looking for here.

Our classroom workshops incorporate a variety of visual, interactive and experiential learning methods including storytelling, drama, group work, role plays, interpreting photos, questioning & discussion and have been specifically designed to enable pupils to:

• Develop a sense of themselves as part of a wider world and of different cultures and places
• Learn about the similarities and differences between people and places around the world and about disparities in the world
• Develop their sense of social justice and moral responsibility
• Begin to understand that their own choices can affect global issues as well as local ones
