For Youth Workers
For Youth Workers
In recent years, Harambee has increased its with the non-formal sector, and especially with youth groups and youth workers.
Harambee can provide development education workshops, on similar topics to our schools workshops but tailored to a youth work setting. These workshops are much more focussed on learning through doing and taking action, and they are on issues that affect young people in the UK and around the world. Workshops can be with individual groups or at conferences, jamborees and events.
Harambee's main project with the youth sector is Global Youth Action - a project empowering young people to take action on issues that are important to them. For more information on this project and how youth groups and youth workers can get involved, click here. If you have a youth group that would be interested in a Global Youth Action Project, please contact us.
For more on Global Youth Work, see the DEA website.
Harambee also run training sessions for youth workers, often in collaboration with Cambridgeshire County Council.
