How to find us:

The Harambee Centre is in central Cambridge. We are on the first floor of the Emmanuel UR Church on Trumpington Street, opposite Pembroke College. Enter through the Church's Fare Shares Café. There is a doorbell for the Harambee Centre by the door to the Fare Shares Café - use this if the cafe is closed and if this does not bring someone down to let you in then ring us if you believe we should be there (such as when you've come during our specified opening hours - see sidebar to left - or you have an appointment).

By bus - Leaving the bus station via Emmanuel Street turn left into St. Andrews Street & right into Downing Street; continue to the end of Pembroke Street. Turn left into Trumpingtom Street.

By train - From Station Road, turn right into Hills Road; continue past the Catholic Church into Regent Street (approx. 1 mile). Turn left into Downing Street; continue to the end of Pembroke Street. Turn left into Trumpingtom Street.

By car - Use the Park and Ride and get off at the bus station or follow the signs to the 'Lion Yard' (the nearest car park).Farther from us than the Lion Yard car park there is some alternative parking :

• metered parking in Ridley Hall Road (off Sidgwick Avenue),
• a free car park at the end of a nameless road off Newnham Road (zoom out the Googlemaps image to understand precisely where this carpark is),
• there is also free parking on Adams Road, Herschel Road, and Sylvester Road (these roads are on either side and at the back of Robinson College on Grange Road).
